AWARDS & PHOTO
Riverway held their presentation evening at the Stafford Cricket and Hockey Club. The Players and Officials had a buffet meal before being presented with their seasons awards. The chairman Andy Richardson expressed dissapointment that there was no silverware to show for last season but he felt that the club had progressed with the introduction of many youngsters into both the Saturday and Sunday teams. The awards presented on the night are as follows; Saturday 'A' Team Players' Player Of The Year; Tom Duffy, Saturday Manager's Player Of The Year; Chris Jones, Saturday Leading Goalscorer; Adam McMahon, Sunday 'A' Team Players' Player Of The Year; Andrew Kirkbride, Sunday 'A' Team Manager's Player Of The Year; James Rickers, Sunday 'A' Team Leading Goalscorer; Martin Fu & Andrew Kirkbride, Sunday 'B' Team Players' Player Of The Year; Tim Cooper, Sunday 'B' Team Manager's Player Of The Year; Richard Stones, Sunday 'B' Team Leading Goalscorer; Shaun Hunt, Clubman Of The Year; Tony Walker.
